ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ— ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਦੂਜੇ ਵਨ ਡੇ 'ਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦਾ 40ਵਾਂ ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ। ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ 120 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ 'ਚ 10 ਚੌਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ 116 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਖੇਡੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਹਤਰੀਨ ਪਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਬਦੌਲਤ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੇ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ 251 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਰਖਿਆ। ਕਪਤਾਨ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਹੀ ਓਵਰ 'ਚ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਕ੍ਰੀਜ਼ 'ਤੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਪਿਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਹੀ ਓਵਰ ਦੀ ਆਖਰੀ ਗੇਂਦ 'ਤੇ ਪਵੇਲੀਅਨ ਪਰਤ ਗਏ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਸਟ੍ਰੋਕਸ ਖੇਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੁਰੀਦ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ।

ਨਾਗਪੁਰ 'ਚ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ 10 ਬਾਊਂਡਰੀ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਜਦਕਿ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਇਕ ਜਾਂ ਦੋ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਉਹ 46ਵੇਂ ਓਵਰ 'ਚ ਆਊਟ ਹੋਏ। ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਈ ਰਿਕਾਰਡਸ ਤੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਪੂਰਨ ਪਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ 'ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਤਾਰੀਫ ਵੀ ਹੋਈ।
