ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ਪੜਤਾਲ ਘਰੁ ੧੩ ॥ ਬੋਲਹੁ ਭਈਆ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨੋ ॥ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤ ਭਗਤ ਤਾਰਨੋ ॥ਹਰਿ ਭਰਿਪੁਰੇ ਰਹਿਆ ॥ਜਲਿ ਥਲੇ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ॥ਨਿਤ ਗਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਦੂਖ ਬਿਸਾਰਨੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਆ ਹੈ ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਦੂਖ ਬਿਸਾਰਨਹਾਰਾ ॥ਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਹੈ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਦਾਤਾ ॥ਹਰਿ ਕੀਈ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਸਫਲ ਜਾਤਾ ॥ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤੀ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਨੋ ॥੧॥

ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ

ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰ, ਜੋ ਵਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ,ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ,ਜੋ (ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ।ਜੋ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ,ਜੋ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਹਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਸਦਾ ਗਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ,(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਦਿਵਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪਿਆ,(ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਜਾਤ੍ਰਾ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।(ਹੁਣ) ਮੈਂ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥

English Translate :

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:  Raag Bilaaval, Fourth Mehl, Partaal, Thirteenth House:  O Siblings of Destiny, chant the Name of the Lord, the Purifier of sinners.  The Lord emancipates his Saints and devotees. The Lord is totally permeating and pervading everywhere;  the Name of the Lord is pervading the water and the land.  So sing continuously of the Lord, the Dispeller of pain. ||1||Pause||   The Lord has made my life fruitful and rewarding.  I meditate on the Lord, the Dispeller of pain.  I have met the Guru, the Giver of liberation.  The Lord has made my life’s journey fruitful and rewarding.  Joining the Sangat, the Holy Congregation, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||1||
